Today we’d like to introduce you to Umu, our Market Response Representative who shares her experience in Signaturit.

She studied law at the University of Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, and later received a postgraduate degree in Business in Sydney, Australia. Yes, that’s on the other side of the world. Because this girl is a real traveller. Central America, Oceania or Southeast Asia, alone or with friends. Her curiosity and energy for travelling is infinite.

Meet our Market Response Representative, Umu Rodon


1. How did you discover Signaturit?

I discovered Signaturit through the website Startupxplore, a community focused on investment for startups. I like SaaS companies, so I researched about Signaturit and decided to apply.

After working for some years in the financial sector, I needed a change of pace, but I wanted to stay in the B2B sales sector.

In my previous job, I signed more than 20 documents daily and I worked with many clients and professionals that also signed many documents. The paper signature made the processes very slow and inefficient.

I saw clearly that a tool like Signaturit could be very useful for our digital world, and I thought that it was a very interesting project to join.


2. How would you describe your work?

I consider myself a change agent. I am responsible for advising companies about the best way to digitize their signature processes.

I am the bridge between these companies and Signaturit, and I advise them to do what’s best when implementing our tool. The goal is to satisfy our client’s needs and to bring them value.


3. What is the overall purpose of your position?

Helping is the verb that best defines my work. I encourage digitization in companies, always based on our client’s real needs.

I check the feasibility of the project, I study what we can offer them according to their needs, their work processes and the other types of tools they already use.

The objective is that thanks to Signaturit, our customers are able to optimize and improve their own services, and can improve their relationship with their own clients.

4. What do you like most about working in the Sales Department?

Everything in this life needs to be “sold”, but of course it's always easier when there’s a real need on the other side.

As a sales person, I feel that my energy is focused on improving other companies’ services. When our customers appreciate the plan I have designed for them, and I see how they improve their results, I feel very satisfied.


5. What do you value most about working in Signaturit?

The possibility to work independently, but at the same time surrounded by people who are experts in their field.

I am very responsible for my action area and I am capable of designing my work method, but at the same time I count on the support of all my colleagues, who I worl together with to make this project real.

Also, we all enjoy our horizontal and transparent organizational structure, which creates a good environment within the office.

Additionally, I love that Signaturit is a very multicultural company, and I can learn things from different cultures. I share space with Venezuelans, Dutch or Paraguayan colleagues.


6. How is a typical day in Signaturit for you?

My day always begins with a cup of coffee and listening to good music. Usually, I like to listen to some soundtrack from the latest film I liked, such as La La land, while I organize my to-do list from most urgent to least.

During the morning I dedicate my first hours to organize all the new information in our CRM. Later, I call to leads, respond to emails and follow up on open projects with companies that we are already in contact with.

In the afternoon I concentrate on analyzing in detail the companies that we work with. I meet with the rest of the team and we exchange ideas and advice to always offer the best eSignature implementation plans to our potential customers..

At the end of the day, I always save a few minutes to look at Linkedin and see what's new in the digital world.

Lastly, on Fridays I go for beers with my colleagues at the end of the day. We're fans of happy hours!

7. What are your biggest challenges in Signaturit?

Perhaps my biggest goal at a professional level is achieving the objective we have set as a team. I work simultaneously with many companies, and one of my main challenges is to have everything planned to meet the goals in the established timings.

At a personal level, one of my greatest challenges is working analytically to extract the relevant information, within the immense amount of data that I manage, to know better about every client.

Additionally, from my own initiative I try to be updated on the latest news on customer engagement and customer commitment, for example, through social networks.


8. What do you like most about working in such an innovative sector?

What I like most is the speed at which everything moves in a sector like ours. We are constantly changing, whether it is at a technical or organizational level. We always have to be up to date, and this dynamism makes our field to be very attractive when it comes to working.  

The electronic signature has evolved very quickly and who knows how far we will go in offering a method that facilitates compliance in signing  contracts and documents.

9. What are the characteristics of a Signabuddy for you? 

There are no two Signabuddies alike, but I believe that motivation and energy are a common to all of us. Generally, Signabuddies are very customer focused, in all departments.

We are an empathetic team, organized and willing to help others. But perhaps in sum, I would say we are positive and kind people.


10. What would you recommend for future Signabuddies?

They should have a great desire to share their experience with all the team.. We share conversations about hard work, but we also have fun moments and lots of laughs. A great day is always guaranteed at Signaturit!
