“You’re not just here to be inspired,
you’re not just here to do business
the work you’re doing is making the world a better place.”
These words, said by Josephine (11 years old) in the opening session at TNW Conference 2016, sum up the mentality that underlies what is undoubtedly the most important technology event in Europe: TNW Conference.
In their own words: TNW is Europe´s Leading Tech Festival, and for two days will bring together the world's top technology executives, CEOs, developers, marketers, investors, entrepreneurs and startups to share knowledge, meet new partners, create new connections and businesses; all with the background of trying to make the world a better place. As Josephine said at the opening session last year: “ In TNW we believe that technology is essential for the future of humanity.”
This year's edition, which is already the 12th edition of this event, will take place on May 18th and 19th in Amsterdam. And on this occasion, Signaturit will also be there. In this post we share all the details.

But … what exactly is TNW?
TNW is Europe´s main technology event. According to CNBC, world leader in communication media, TNW (acronym for The Next Web) is “the most intimate technology festival on the planet.” And the first prize they received last year in the conference category from the EuBea - the European Best Event Awards, supports this statement.
The goal of this event is to help the people and companies that are improving the world through technology. And for that, TNW focuses on four pillars - - media, events, intelligence and spaces - to inspire and connect those who make up Generation T, all of us who use digital technology to connect and interact with society, businesses or even with politics. To use the expression of one of their co-founders, Patrick de Laive, in an article recently published on their website (media) titled “WTF is TNW: You think you know, but you have no idea.”

That is why TNW is the main technological event in Europe, as it is a meeting point for all those that make up Generation T. In the 2017 edition, more than 15,000 professionals will participate every day and will be able to take advantage of the space, chats, activities and all the tools that will be available to the attendees to inspire them, have fun and do quality networking.
Signaturit is among those chosen to participate in TNW 2017
Connecting startups with investors is part of the general goals of TNW. This is why the conference offers 4 different programs for the selected startups to show what they do. Each program corresponds to a specific stage of business development:
- Bootstrap, for early-stage
- Boost, for those in growth phase
- Scale, for those already in an advanced development stage and with significant traction in the market
- Impact, for 50 companies that are solving some of the main problems that we face today.
Signaturit has been selected to participate within the Boost program, thanks to this we will have a stand from where we will be able to explain what what we do and how our electronic trust services - eSignatures, eDelivery and eID - can serve for any company to streamline any operational and business process that requires signing documents, certifying internal communications and with third parties, and/ or identifying people.
