Signaturit & DGDM announced eConsent

On the second day of DIA Amsterdam our CMO Salvador Severich together with Ingrid de Poorter of DGDM presented eConsent during the 10-minute Show & Tell session.

Here you can have a look at the video of our presentation:

What is eConsent?

eConsent is our newest product, developed in collaboration with the belgian law firm De Groote-De Man, and it's the best solution to collect proven consent to process, store and transfer personal data.

The aim of this new product is to protect companies from GDPR conflicts by providing legitimate proof of the consent. As GDPR issues can result in enormous costs, this tool will be an essential safety-net for all companies operating in the EU.

The eConsent tool has been designed in a user-friendly way to easily obtain consent in a lawful and legal manner. As there are 4 different solutions that can be used, depending on the needs of the company, eConsent is an all in one solution for all businesses across Europe.

The 4 eConsent solutions

Below are described the four different eConsent solutions from the basic to more advanced one, that provide the highest level of legal certainty.

  • Basic eConsent

Collects the IP address, the browser and the date and time at which consent was given by the client.
  • Basic eConsent+

Here there is a second authentication step in place by which the company requires an additional validation through a code sent by SMS or e-mail.
  • Advanced eConsent

An advanced electronic signature is needed from the client, collecting his/her biometric data.
  • Reinforced eConsent

A picture of the National Identification Number or Passport is needed in addition to the advanced electronic signature.

In a few years, the insurance industry will look very different, as it is changing faster than ever. The leading insurance companies of the future will be those that apply the most innovative insurtech solutions to accelerate their digital strategy.

Therefore, there is a great need to connect insurance executives and fintech leaders efficiently and effectively and that is exactly what happened at DIA Amsterdam last month.
